The Art of the Gun: Magnificent Colts
From photography to press, a magnum opus of a project.
The opportunity to work on Magnificent Colts with the Robert M. Lee, Anne Brockinton Lee, RL Wilson and the amazing staff at Yellowstone Press has proven to be a uniquely challenging, yet rewarding and educational experience. I have been working with a team of designers over the past decade on a series of mini and coffee table books highlighting one mans astounding collections.
My role in the production of The Art of the Gun encompassed a large array of areas, everything from IT management of multiple sites throughout the country, rebuilding the IT infrastructure from the ground up and moving the businesses assets several times throughout the years; to art direction of photography, color correction, indexing, digital asset management, layout and design on the books to developing Filemaker Pro databases allowing us to effective manage as a group the collections and vast amount of related data.
